Want to create integrated workflows between Connect 365 and the other marketing software you utilize?

Zapier is the key to integrating with 1000s of other applications and tools.

Zapier allows you to automate repetitive tasks between a variety of software so that you can keep focused on more important tasks - without having to know any code or dealing with API keys.

What Are Zaps?

Zaps are the automation workflows that allow you to communicate between your different software tools.

For every Zap, there are two key elements to configure:

  1. Set up your trigger. This would be you choosing an event within an app that launches the automation workflow. Anything from receiving a new lead, to adding a contact into a Google Sheet, to starring an email in your inbox.
  2. Choose your action. The action is what task you want Zapier to complete for you next.I.e. Creating a contact in Connect 365. Or removing adding a lead to a Google Sheet for your team to call.

What Types of Software Apps Are on Zapier?

The short answer...just about everything.

With over 3,000 applications integrated with Zapier there are a lot of options.

If you want to see if the tools you already utilize are on the Zapier ecosystem, search for the software you use here!

Some of the most common applications our users integrate with on Zapier include:

  • GetProspect, SeamlessAI (prospecting)
  • Mailchimp, InfusionSoft, Hubspot (crms)
  • PayPal, Stripe (payment processors)
  • ScheduleOnce, YouCanBookMe, Calendly (calendar apps)
  • Simplero, Kajabi (online courses)
  • Google Sheets, Gmail, Typeform, Gravity Forms

What Are Some Common Workflows for Connect 365 on Zapier?

Let’s take a look at some common use cases for this..

Removing Contacts from Connect 365 Campaigns

Let’s say you want to remove a Lead who booked a call on your Calendly calendar from your email outreach campaign within Connect 365.

Zapier works similar to Advanced Actions meaning you have a Trigger and a corresponding Action.

In this case the ‘Trigger’ would be an appointment being booked in Calendly (or ‘Invitee Created’).

The Action would be to tell Connect 365 to remove any relevant or existing tags on that contact record within Connect 365.

When a tag that is associated with a specific campaign is removed from that contact, it would take them out of the remaining messaging they were scheduled for.

Perhaps you want to take customers who purchase out of campaigns after the checkout from your Stripe order form. You would follow the same process above and just match the appropriate application settings to then remove a specific tag (or tags) from that individual’s record.

Adding Contacts to Connect 365 Email Outreach & Follow Up Campaigns

Now let’s say instead you want to add contacts who take an action into your Connect 365 automatically and input them into a follow-up sequence.

Maybe in your case you are using a tool like Seamless.AI to find prospects in the first place.

In this situation your Trigger might be ‘New Contact’ Found.

And the resulting Action within Connect 365 would be to ‘Add a Contact’.

If you’d like to add them into a Connect 365 campaign that you’ve previously created, the best route is to use the Add a Tag field within your Zap from above.

You can then type in the Tag Name associated with the specific sequence you’d like to add them to.

Note: this field is Case Sensitive and should be in all caps by default.

Now anytime a new Prospect is added to my list, they will get added into Connect 365 and applied to the contact tag to add them into the associated campaign.

Using Connect 365 as the ‘Trigger’ In Zapier

Sometimes you might want to have a Connect 365 event be the trigger to set up an action in a different tool.

Let’s say for instance you planned to call your prospects at a specific point in your email sequence.

Maybe after the 3rd message you wanted to call every prospect who hadn’t yet booked a call.

To do so choose the Trigger option of ‘New Message Sent in Connect 365’ from the options.

This would configure the zap to begin whenever a new message is sent via your Connect 365 setup.

Pro Tip: If you want a specific message to trigger the action, then use the ‘Filter’ option within Zapier to choose the Subject Line that should be used to complete the Zap.

Finally, choose the Action.

In the example below we are sending recipients of a specific message to a spreadsheet. This would be a spreadsheet with a list of contacts to dial in your call campaign.

Final Thoughts

Depending on the specifics of your campaigns, your sales process and even the other marketing software you might be utilizing, there’s a lot of opportunity to get creative in the actions you automate.

Hopefully, this post has given you a strong primer on the foundational elements of how to integrate Connect 365 with the other applications you might be using.
