To ensure you have everything configured correctly it it helpful to send a test message before creating a real campaign.
Step 1 – Start by clicking on Campaigns located on the top menu bar
Step 2 – Then click on Create Campaign
Step 3 – Give the campaign a title (something like Test Campaign will be fine) select the Google account you have linked in the previous steps, Select the Scheduled campaign type, and click on Get Started to continue
Tip – The Priority feature can help ensure certain campaigns receive priority over others. Consuming you daily sending credit before other messages scheduled for the same day.
Step 4 – For the test email you can skip selecting a tag for now.
Step 5 – Select the appropriate time zone then click Done
Step 6 – Begin by clicking Compose
Step 7 – Give the email a subject, and set the Send on date, fill the test email out, don’t forget to use the replacement texts menu!
Step 8 – When complete, click Save, then click “Send Test Email”
Step 9 – Review the email to make sure everything looks okay.
The replacement texts you used will be filled in with placeholders to show they’re working here is an example of a test email as seen in the gmail inbox
