  • Use your current list. This may seem a little obvious, but as business owners, leaders, execs and worker bees, we are so busy that we often don’t see what is right in front of our eyes. If you have a current contact list, then you are sitting on a goldmine and you can start with your existing list. Chances are there are names on that email list that you haven’t reached out to in years. They may even be previous customers who are already open to receiving your email outreach. Sometimes it’s the easy way that works and all it takes is a little re-touch and check-in so don’t discount what you already have.
  • Get new contacts from LinkedIn. This is one of our favorite social media platforms. Why? Because LinkedIn is one of the world’s most up to date business databases. It allows you to find new connections and build relationships with brand new prospects as well as reach back out to existing connections that need some nurturing.
  • 3rd Party Tools. There are countless 3rd party B2B contact database providers that can give you the contact information of your perfect prospects for almost nothing. Definitely push for verified and validated emails to help reduce bounce rates and bad email addresses to stay on the good side of email marketing. The good news is that many of these tools can be paired with LinkedIn and used together to gather more leads and reach more prospects in an automated way.
