Today’s topic which is all about defining what a ‘Perfect Prospect’ looks like to your business.
We refer to this as creating your "perfect prospect profile." But you might have heard of it by some other names - client avatar, or buyer persona, or something similar.
Too often we see people overlook or try and shortcut this step. They say ‘Yea I know who I sell to... people that need my product or service.’
This leads to wasted time on the wrong prospects. Building the wrong collateral. And lots of lost money and time ultimately.
Today's lesson walks through a simple process we follow when targeting any new vertical or launching any new marketing campaign. It all starts with your prospect. This is your roadmap.
It will make your prospecting easier. Your list building easier. Your copywriting. Your sales pitch. Everything stems from first building out a quality prospect profile.
